The Catholic Record Society
Published by Cambridge University Press, British Catholic History acts as a forum for the most innovative, vibrant, transnational, inter-disciplinary scholarship resulting from research on the history of British and Irish Catholicism at home and throughout the world. We publish peer-reviewed original research articles, review articles and shorter reviews of works on all aspects of British Catholic history from the 15th Century up to the present day. Central to our publishing policy is an emphasis on the multi-faceted, national and international dimensions of British Catholic history. We now make this research available in both paper and digital form, both accessable to subscribers.
We welcome articles for consideration, and enquiries about book reviews for commission (unsolicited book reviews are not accepted). For further information for potential authors and reviewers, subscription, and the digital archive of past issues (available to subscribers), please visit the journal’s page on our Cambridge University Press webpage.
