The Catholic Record Society
The CRS had organised roundtable at the Sixteenth Century Society Conference in Bruges last week, on “From Recusant History to British Catholic History: The Changing Historical Face of Early Modern Catholicism”. Participants were Lucy Wooding, Alexandra Walsham, and Anne Dillon; Peter Marshall was chair and read the paper by Peter Davidson. It was a very well attended event and great discussion about the current state and future potential of the study of Catholicism in Britain and Ireland. The tweets here collected give some flavour of it. Thanks to all participants and contributors!
